Billionaire Elon Musk has finally bought Twitter for $44 Billion!

Elon Musk has finally acquired the largest social media platform in the world i.e., Twitter for $44 Billion. After this acquisition, Twitter is no longer a public company and is now owned by a single person.

The present CEO of Twitter, Parag Agrawal will get $42 Million if he is terminated within the next 12 months after the acquisition.

Here are some of the latest tweets made by Elon Musk after the deal was confirmed.

I think this line "I hope that even my worst critics remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means." indicates that he is probably not going to ban anyone as of yet.

But this second tweet also mentions that he is going to make the algorithm open source and will also take strict actions against the bot accounts and the accounts which are not properly authenticated as humans.

Elon Musk also seems to be very focused on the aspect of "Free Speech" and implementing it in the social media platform he just bought which has been the platform for people to voice their concerns for many years.

How will this acquisition actually affect the core of twitter as a social media platform? Will all moderations be removed in the name of "Free Speech"? Will new features, algorithms and authentications be placed in order to make the platform better? Nothing is confirmed as of yet. We will just have to wait and watch.

So, what is the future of Twitter? Will it evolve or will it vanish like many others in the past? Many such questions are being asked by people right now.
